  • We live here because we love to play whether it’s in the back country, at Tamarack Resort or on the water.
  • Tamarack Resort is just a mile away offering exceptional alpine skiing, cross country skiing, awesome zip line tours, lift served mountain biking trails, a spa, restaurants and soon the reopening of the Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed Osprey Meadows golf course (additional courses are just a short drive away).
  • Lake Cascade is just out the front door. This 17 mile long lake is a virtual water treasure trove. Ranging from designated non-motorized flat water paddling (kayak/canoe/SUP) to small craft fishing (nice variety of fish) to water skiing and designated large boat area to the South.
  • White water rafting and kayaking starts just a few minutes to the south of the Retreat including the exceptional Kelly’s White Water Park and School. Learn to paddle there or if you’re skilled enough, take on the world famous North Fork of the Payette! Shuttle services, rentals and raft trips are all available.
  • Snowmobiling in the back country is simply fantastic. Bring your own or rentals are just a mile up the road at the gateway to some fantastic back country snowmobiling.
  • The back country is just out the back with great mountain biking, jeeping, UTV trails, hiking, fly fishing.
  • If you choose, we would be happy to be your Concierge arranging your activities – from private lessons, guide services, trips or reservations. Let’s talk to arrange a special, memorable experience.
